Put on your running shoes.

The experts always say that everytime you encounter a challenge, confront it. Never run. I wonder if these experts have ever have my challenges.

It's true in theory and yes it sounds really motivating. Let's get real though. As if having the problems is not bad enough, now we have someone telling us that we are not brave enough by running.

Is running really that bad?

It depends. There are some problems that you have to deal head on. However, there are cases that you have dealt with it so many times that it left you emotionally dried and yet nothing has changed.

It is like finding a needle in a huge stack of hays in a building with the size of Midvalley Megamall plus the new Garden. Do we want to keep on searching? Or can we go to seven eleven and buy a new needle or better yet, a new sweater at Nichis?

When we deal with the same thing so many times, the chances of the problem to be solved getting slimmer. Yet through the process, we wasted time and energy to do something that resulted in nothing. Worst yet, we might lose faith. An optimist could easily become a pessimist.

What would you do then? Do you keep on trying or are you allowed to run?

For a change, let me suggest to you something that is rather radical and might enrage all those motivational speakers. Stop trying. Stop solving and see how it would work out. It might surprise you that when you stop trying, things just fall back into places.

Besides, there are some things that can only be mend with time. And time never work well with those who suffers.

Then again, life is never that simple. In between the black and white, there is a stinking huge wide gap of gray. It might work, it might not work. But what have you got to lose?

Give it a thought.

Miss Diana K...

Interesting thought there.

My take on it is, if one wants to deal with any situation, deal with it by giving a 100%. Not one person giving 50%, the other person expected to give the other 50%, or whatever else, coz you're bound to be disappointed if you rely on expectations. I'm not saying give-in, but give. If it doesn't work out, maybe it's meant to be like that. You've given your best. So run maybe, or do nothing or come back to it later.

I am no expert on this, but white black who cares? Even the experts are speaking rubbish kan?

@inche' ayaz: yup, i agree.. that expectation usually make the dealing part difficult.. giving 100% and not expect anything take some courage though =)..

@che' syu: apa yang amboi2 ni che' syu oi! adakah amboi2 tu direferkan kepada perkataan white black who cares?

I think running is never a solution cos you can run, but in the end you'll find the problems saying hello again,..somehow.

But yep, definitely can hibernate for a while. That is also solving the problems..Healing with time is an option.

Aja aja fighting my friend!

Owh btw, blog i terbatuk2 sebab korang sebut2 nama dia, intentionally or not!

and if masalah tu still ad untuk masa yang lama and never solved then, nape xtgk in different perspective?

mungkin masalah tu terlalu lama padahal keadaan mungkin berubah tapi bila kita melihat masalah tu dengan keadaan yg sama, mungkin kita yg salah.

true.. running is never a solution. and sometimes, to forgive and forget is never easy and to accept our own mistakes can be real tough.

good luck kakna!! xsabo mau balek..

oooo Tanjung... Tanjung...

Mula2 i tanak comment apa2. Pehtu, komen sumer2 orang pun macam encouraging. So here goes....

As for me, first comes the problem, second comes solutions. You could try to solve the problem with solution A, if it did not work, try solution B, C, D and the list goes on. Kadang2 whenever a problem hits me, i got the solution in a very creative way yang i pun tak tau cemana i boleh dapat idea nak solve problem tuh camtuh...

To give up or the way you put it here as "to let nature takes its course" is not really a wise solution (pada pendapat i laaa). To leave matters in gray area is something yang errr.... shouldn't happened.

As for me, it is important to get clear perspective / answer dari main teka2 sendirik :)

But then again, sumer orang pun berbeza... By the way, adakah u pempuan yang bermasalah right now? hohoho... I'm here bebeh if u ever need me :)
